Meditation in Blue

So the drowing is still going well. I'm not dead (always a plus) and the house I've joined hasn't exiled me.. even when it's matron boldly chose to oust all Lolthians from her domain. It's been a fun story.. and I've truly enjoyed playing one of it's more subtle villains.

As far as the blog i'm not sure how often i'll update it to be honest. Once a day seems a little much in my opinion especially with as busy as I can be at times. I'll get it figured out eventually. In the meantime enjoy the next installment of fun I've found to wear.

I'm still working on trying to keep the pictures from being so grainy looking. Closeups seem a bit easier but anywho. Today I decided blue was fun and Plastik has released a to die for mesh corset in a metric butt load of color combinations. I paired it up with one of the devastation collars in the same color. The collars are great for the wicked look too all tall and flared and rigged mesh so no more sticking through your chin.

The filigree head gear are actually bracelets from Illusions, another favorite haunt of mine.  A little resizing and they work great to hold up the giant hair rolls.

I had to take a close up shot of the nails. I really might not ever take them off. I first saw them on Winter Jefferson's blog and pretty much knew I HAD to have them to live. So thank you Vainpire <3! I really hope you don't mind a drow stalker.. or mind the smell of chloroform too much.

Visiting Port Luth

So yeah, loving this priestess shtick. Got myself a new whip, and I loved it so much I just HAD to toss it up in a post. The maker is Markz McMahon and it's called Markz whip in black. The detail on the sheath is pretty amazing I must say and in my opinion is the best looking one I've seen yet. It's animated and has sound... you'd have to hear it to understand just how badly I made myself jump the first time I used it and realized the sound was up too high.

that's just the sheath. It comes with a slew of options as well as a cross for those of us that need portable torture. Please forgive the grainy textures on the pictures, still trying to work the bugs out of this photo taking bidness.

BUT! on to the rest. I also love that Graves has tango appliers for many of their outfits. They have been sort of a one stop shop for much of my drow apparel needs and lets not forget the Plastik as well while we are at it. I've gotten so much mileage out of the Naamah body armor set that I'm surprised I haven't worn the pixels out yet.

I was really happy with how this outfit turned out; even if it has several sci-fi elements in my opinion. (combat boots for starters) I just have a really hard time with stilletos in my RP. So I'm all for a grand pair of flat boots that I can rock in the medieval and still look sexeh.

I'm probably going to gush about the lip piercings from Ellabella for a few months yet. They remind me of spider fangs and were just to perfect to pass up when I bought them.

The hair braid is from Emo-tions. I just really had a hard time finding a single, mesh, down the back braid and this one really tripped my trigger. It comes with a tattoo hair base to match but I thought the bangless look was a little too harsh so I modded the crud out of a hairstyle I just found floating in the library section of my inventory and I really don't think it turned out too badly. All in all I'm  a fan of Emo-tions hair and have several styles but the white always seemed to be rather yellow to me and I could never tell if it was just my screen settings or the texture. I've also noticed the same issue with Truth when I've tried their Snow and Silver colors.

Numero Uno... omg!

So I've been toying with the idea of starting a blog for what seems like ages... so here goes. Ultimately I just wanted an excuse to take pretty pictures and feel important lol. Granted I'm using the term pretty -very- loosely. So here goes.

My first post is going to be my drow character that mucks about in The Shadow Lands sim. It's an RP sim that's apart of a much larger group of sims with interconnecting storylines called the Great Alliance. She's going by the name Erel'iira and thank you Annie Ibanez for creating this fantastic skin! (holy hand grenades of Antioch batman! it has white eyebrows! and yes for those of you who like to be all color coordinated... the carpet does match the drapes... just sayin)

All in all drowing it up is a ton of fun.. something I highly recommend to anyone out there that likes to wring their hands and cackle maniacally once in a while.
